Manual

As of version 3.8

This page explains everything in INFINIDROP: how it works, where you find it in the game and how you get it. Names are written exactly as they appear in the game. Use the search to find any keyword.

1. Getting started and prologue

The first start

  • Language: 14 languages, your device language is preselected. You can change it later in the settings.
  • Consent: Depending on your country and device, Google, Apple or the game itself asks whether we may measure. In Europe, Google first asks for your consent to ads and their measurement, and on iPhone and iPad Apple asks with the tracking prompt. Then comes “QUICK & IMPORTANT” with the terms of use and the privacy notice. On Android devices outside Europe, the game only asks you itself after that: “May INFINIDROP measure?”
  • Aged 16 and over: INFINIDROP is for players aged 16 and over. In “QUICK & IMPORTANT” you confirm this with the box “I am at least 16 years old”; without the tick you cannot tap “Got it”. If you already played before version 3.7, the game shows you “QUICK & IMPORTANT” with the box once, at the first start after the update.
  • Name: “CHOOSE YOUR NAME”: 2 to 14 characters made of letters (including Ä, Ö, Ü, ß) and digits; spaces, hyphens and underscores only in the middle. Your name is unique worldwide and permanent. The die suggests a random name. If you already have an account, sign in here under “Already have an account?” with Google (on iPhone and iPad also with Apple). This also works without an account: signing in then creates your linked account, and you only choose your name.
  • Character: man or woman, hairstyle and hair colour. Your look cannot be changed later.

The prologue

Your adventure starts with borrowed power: your hero wears the full Black Matter set, the mask of the Hollow. After a few seconds the Hollow takes all seven pieces back. You keep seven Black Shards. Now you collect your first real loot, put it on with “EQUIP” and fuse three identical pieces into your first star (“Fuse ×3 → ★”). At the end the Hollow returns and escapes through the rift. From your first fusion on you can end the prologue with “Skip” in the top right corner and still keep the loot.

Your first steps

  • “TO THE HUNT!” gives you 3 free charges for the Rift Portal (the first one with a rare guarantee) and your first companion, the Sub Wisp.
  • A short guide shows you forging (your first forge is free), your first skill point and the Rift Portal.
  • “SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT!”: link your account with Google (on iPhone and iPad also with Apple). The first link gives you 200 gems. Shortly afterwards the Tower rises. If you already signed in at the start, you get the 200 gems after the prologue.
  • After you defeat your first stage boss, “DON'T MISS OUT!” asks whether we may remind you when your login bonus or a gift is waiting, at most once a day. “Yes, please!” opens your device's prompt, “Not now” closes the question. You can change it anytime under Settings, General, Notifications.
  • In your first hour of play, six welcome gifts are waiting for you, the last one is a legendary weapon; you can claim them for seven days.
  • In the stage box, the line “Next goal” shows what unlocks next.

What unlocks when

  • Companion: at the end of the prologue
  • Tower: shortly after the account window
  • Arena: from level 4
  • Guild: from level 6
  • Fate Stones: from stage 8
  • Onslaught Arena: from stage 10
  • Rift Expedition: from stage 10, with a linked account
  • Vaults: from level 15
  • Rebirth: from stage 20
  • Second zone, Frost Waste: from stage 26

Up to stage 10 before your first rebirth the game helps you out: bosses always drop something, dying costs nothing, and you get stronger with every attempt against a boss. If you fail twice at the same early boss, the card “GET STRONGER” shows you what helps right now.

2. Screen and controls

Top bar

On the left you see gold and gems, each with a green plus. The plus asks “Buy gold?” or “Buy gems?” and takes you to the SPECIAL SHOP with “Yes, to the shop!”. On the right: the letter for your mail (it wiggles when something new arrives), “News” with the latest from the team (a dot marks anything unread) and the gear icon for the SETTINGS.

Tabs at the bottom

  • Battle: your stage, the battle scene, Fate Stones, TODAY, HUNTER'S JOURNEY, Missions and EVENTS.
  • Hero: sub tabs Equipment, Companion, Abilities (Skills and Runes), Bag and Rebirth. Tap your avatar at the top to open your profile. There you pick your picture under “Avatar”, festival avatars included.
  • Tower: “Sealed” at first, after unlocking the Tower with all its floors.
  • Portal: the Rift Portal, your God Sparks, later the Dark Portal and the big SPECIAL SHOP button.
  • Arena: LEAGUE, PARTY for the Rift Expedition (chapter 25) and FRIENDLY.
  • Guild: Overview, Fights, League and members.

A red dot on a tab means something is waiting for you there, for example a skill point, a better item, an open tower fight or the guild daily goal.

The battle scene

  • In the top right corner of the stage box sits the small clock “NEXT EVENTS”. Below it you see your next goal or your next milestone (tap it to open “STAGE FINDS”). In the top left corner of the stage box sits the speech bubble for the world chat.
  • Running server events show up as badges in the top right corner of the scene. The pink “EVENT!” button starts a mini game.
  • In the bottom left you find the vault gate with your keys, above it the portal to the Onslaught Arena with your entries and, during a festival, the festival button above that.
  • Below the battle sit the buttons of your active runes.

Controls

  • Tapping the battle gives an extra hit.
  • Press and hold repeats forging, learning skills, upgrades, using potions, feeding and overfeeding. You can turn this off under Settings, General.
  • After 5 minutes without a tap, the standby screen turns on to save battery (chapter 14).
  • On Android, the back button closes the top window.

3. Battle, stages, zones and tiers

Your hero fights automatically. You make your hero stronger, collect the loot and help out by tapping. The “Power” in the top right above your hero (Hero, Equipment) sums up your damage per second with crit, speed, companion and runes in one number, and the Tower compares it with its requirement (chapter 16). The STATS page (Hero, Equipment: tap a value or “All stats”) shows what makes up your damage, health, crit, speed, gold and drops.

Stages and bosses

  • Every stage has 20 enemies. The 20th is the stage boss: beat it and you move on to the next stage.
  • Elite enemies show up now and then. They are tougher and drop loot more often.
  • Every 50th stage ends with a titan. Before the fight it offers you three cards (chapter 21). After a while it goes into a rage. A win gives gems and a guaranteed item.
  • Bonus level: rarely a bonus level starts instead of a normal enemy. The enemies get stronger with every kill, and every kill raises the chance of an epic or legendary drop. It ends with exactly one drop, with your death or when you go a while without a kill. You cannot lose anything in it.

Death

“YOU DIED”: after 5 seconds you are back. Usually a death costs some gold and one stage. At a titan you drop back 5 stages, but every death makes you stronger against exactly that titan (revenge bonus).

Zones, worlds and tiers

  • There are 10 zones of 25 stages each: Night Forest, Frost Waste, Ember Maw, Void Sector, Deepsea Reef, Crystal Chasm, Ash Throne, Endtime Zenith, Realm of the Hollow and Heart of the Void.
  • A world has 250 stages. Then the next world begins (“Night Forest 2” and so on) and the enemies keep getting stronger. Worlds 2 to 10 each bring a Hunter's Journey step with gems and a world title. The highest stage is 1,000,000.
  • Every 25 stages form one zone, and every item carries the tier of the zone it dropped in (“T12”). Up to zone 8 the value grows a lot with each tier, after that it keeps growing by 25% per tier. Monsters past stage 200 scale up smoothly alongside.
  • Godlike and higher items grow with you: they automatically rise to the tier of your current zone.
  • The game shortens big numbers: k, M, B, T, then aa, ab, ac and so on (each step times 1000).

Events in battle

  • Weak spot: when a spot lights up on the enemy for a moment, tap it: a guaranteed critical hit.
  • Combo and BOOST: beat many enemies quickly in a row and your combo grows. At 15 you get BOOST for a few seconds with more gold and more speed.
  • EVENT!: every few minutes the pink button appears for a short time. It starts one of three mini games: “GEM RAIN!” (catch gems and gold, avoid the skulls), “HIT THE DROP!” or “SKILL CHECK!”. You win gems and gold.

One-handed and two-handed

Two-handed weapons (Sub Breaker, Amen Axe) deal heavy damage: +35% against bosses, elites, titans and tower wardens. In return they are a little slower, block the off-hand and count as two pieces for set bonuses. Overkill: whatever goes beyond an enemy's health hits the next normal enemy, up to three times your damage with one hand and up to six times with two hands. With the Overkill Pack from the shop (chapter 22) your overkill wipes out up to three more monsters at once in stage battles, with Tiers 2 and 3 up to six or nine.

4. Gear and rarities

Slots and base items

Your hero has seven slots: weapon, off-hand, head, chest, pants, boots and amulet. Weapons, daggers, focuses and amulets give damage; shields, head, chest, pants and boots give health.

  • Weapon: Wobble Blade, Neuro Edge and Reese Saber (one-handed), Sub Breaker and Amen Axe (two-handed)
  • Off-hand: Dubplate Shield, Splinter Dagger, Feedback Focus
  • Head: Headroom Helm, Noisegate Mask, Monitor Visor
  • Chest: Limiter Plate, Sidechain Cloak, Lowcut Harness
  • Pants: Rumble Legguards, Lowend Pants
  • Boots: Kicksample Boots, Halftime Treads
  • Amulet: LFO Talisman, Phaser Eye, Sample Relic, Vinyl Seal

The eight rarities

Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Godlike, Infinity, Black Matter and Singularity. From Rare upwards items carry extra stats such as crit, gold or speed, and every rarity is clearly stronger than the one before.

Where does each rarity come from?

  • Common: drops from enemies from stage 1, also from the Rift Portal.
  • Rare: drops from stage 10; also from the Rift Portal, the chest, the Tower and the free charges with a rare guarantee.
  • Epic: drops from stage 35; also from the Rift Portal, the bonus level, the chest and the Tower (floor 30 guaranteed).
  • Legendary: drops from stage 70 (see below).
  • Godlike: drops very rarely from stage 100, twice as often from stage 250. Also: the Rift Portal (very rare), 100 God Sparks (an item of your choice), the Tower (floor 75 guaranteed, the Warden's Blade on floor 100), the Wheel of Fortune, the redemption of a curse, the Onslaught Arena token shop and the €200 milestone. Godlike heads carry their own ability.
  • Infinity: only comes from three identical Godlike items (chapter 5).
  • Black Matter: comes from converting an Infinity item with rift level 10 and 10 demon cores. The first time, every slot also costs one of your seven Black Shards.
  • Singularity: comes from a completed Black Matter item (core level 10 and three stars) and an Annihilator Core at the Dark Portal (chapter 6).

Legendary items in detail

  • They drop from stage 70, more often from bosses and elites than from normal enemies.
  • In the Rift Portal they are rare, but the legendary guarantee helps: the 50th charge at the latest brings at least a legendary item.
  • More sources: the second phase of the bonus level, the chest, the Tower (floor 50 guaranteed, at least legendary from floor 70), the Wheel of Fortune, the login bonus (day 10 in the Champion rank) and the Hollow as a messenger.
  • Legendary Legacy: every legendary item you find gives you +0.5% damage for good, up to +25%.
  • Once you no longer need them, dismantle them into Echo Shards. A rebirth does this automatically.

Stars

Common to Legendary and Infinity carry up to three stars, and every star raises the value a lot. Stars come from fusion. Godlike has no stars. Black Matter gets its stars added later (see below), and Singularity has no star slots.

Forging

Forging costs gold and gives +8% value per level, up to a cap per rarity: Common 5, Rare 7, Epic 10, Legendary 13, Godlike 16, Infinity 20 levels. Black Matter and Singularity cannot be forged. You can forge equipped items and items in your bag. In high zones the forging price for Common to Legendary grows no faster than the gold you earn there. Godlike and Infinity cost at most a fixed price per level.

Forge Overflow

Under Hero, Abilities, below the skill tree, you find the card “FORGE OVERFLOW” from your first rebirth on. With “Melt down gold” you put in 25%, 50% or all of your gold; before that the game asks once more (“Are you sure?”). Melted gold counts forever, even after every rebirth. From 1 million gold you get the first overflow level, every further one at double the amount. Each level gives +1% damage and health, with no end. On a rebirth your gold is lost as before; only what you melt down yourself goes into the overflow.

Rift Forge

The Rift Forge improves Infinity items. It opens once you have worn Godlike or better on all seven slots (“FULLY GODLIKE!”). There are 10 rift levels, each adding +10% to all stats. They cost Time & Space Rift Stones, more for higher levels.

Black Matter: core levels and stars

  • Core levels: on the equipped item you embed demon cores, level 0 to 10, each level +10% to all stats. The server rolls the dice, and the chance drops with every level. If an attempt fails, the cores are gone but the level stays.
  • Failed-roll protection: after three failed attempts at the same core level, the next attempt at that level is guaranteed. The counter runs per level for your whole account, on any of your Black Matter items. The display says “Next attempt at level n is guaranteed”.
  • Add stars: on a Black Matter item, “Add stars” opens the “ADD STARS” window with two routes, both using Infinity items of the same kind. Two items with exactly as many stars as your Black Matter item give it one more star. One item with more stars lifts it to its star count, up to three stars. The two-item route is always the cheaper one, the window marks it with “CHEAPER”, and with it converting early costs you nothing. Each route shows its worth in Godlike items. The one-item route only pays off if you already own such an item and want to jump several stars at once.
  • Stars shown: The game shows the stars of your Black Matter item as ★ in the Black Matter colour, just like the stars of other items: on the tile in your bag, on the hero stage, in the card of an equipped item, in the card of an item in your bag and when you inspect other players. Singularity carries no stars.

Where cores and stones come from

  • Demon core: every repeat win against a vault end boss, the Special Shop, the Stone Card, a stage find from stage 1500.
  • Rift Stone: the Special Shop (after the rift unlock), Onslaught Marks, the Tower, a stage find from stage 750, the Hunter's Journey, top places in the arena and the Onslaught season, the Stone Card, Ascent Packs, festivals, very rarely the Rift Portal and titans.
  • Annihilator Core: the Dark Portal, a stage find from stage 3000.

Set bonuses and forms

From Rare upwards every rarity gives a set bonus at 3 and at 5 equipped pieces: Rare gives crit, Epic damage, Legendary damage and gold, and from Godlike on damage, gold and crit, more with every rarity. Higher rarities count for the ones below: Infinity also counts as Godlike, Black Matter also as Godlike and Infinity, Singularity for all three. With 7 of 7 you also get a form with more damage and health: GOD FORM, INFINITY FORM, DEMON FORM and SINGULARITY FORM. The forms stack. A two-handed weapon counts as two pieces. The “Set bonuses” table in the game shows the exact values.

Head abilities

Heads from Godlike upwards carry their own ability that triggers on its own in battle, for example a mighty hit, healing or more speed. They do not work in the arena.

5. Fusion, dismantling and selling

Fusion

  • Three identical items (same base item, same name, same rarity, same stars) become one item with one more star. The result keeps the best value plus a bonus and the highest forge level. Your equipped item counts as the third one.
  • Pulsing tiles in your bag show you where three identical items are waiting.
  • Chest, pants and boots: from Godlike on, any three items of the same slot with the same number of stars will do, even with different names and from different zones.
  • Across zones: Epic, Legendary, Godlike and Infinity items also fuse when they come from different zones. Items from lower zones are first lifted to the highest of the three zones, and that is where the result lands. Common and Rare items need the same zone.
  • Three identical Godlike items (same base item; any for chest, pants and boots) become one Infinity item. Three identical Infinity items add one star. In a fusion the highest rift level survives and the others are lost (the game warns you first).
  • Black Matter and Singularity do not fuse.
  • “Fuse all” keeps fusing until nothing is left to fuse.
  • Which item turns into which is shown in the name chains right below this chapter.

Dismantling

You can dismantle legendary items into Echo Shards, more stars give more shards. “Dismantle all legendaries” asks “Are you sure?” first and leaves protected items, better items and everything “Equip best” would use untouched.

You can dismantle Godlike items into God Sparks: each item gives 35 sparks, so three dismantled items make one Godlike item of your choice. Tap “Dismantle +35” on the item card; the “Sell for sure?” window also offers “Dismantle for 35 God Sparks”. Just like selling, the game asks twice, only the tap on “Dismantle FOR GOOD” dismantles the item. If it belongs to a fusion you are working on, the window shows “Fusion: 2/3” or “Fusion: 3/3” first. If a stack holds several identical items, the game always dismantles the weakest one, so a forged item stays as long as a weaker one is there. Protected and equipped items cannot be dismantled, and neither can Infinity, Black Matter or Singularity items.

Selling

  • Selling gives gold: the higher the rarity, zone and stars, the more. From Godlike on the game asks twice.
  • “Sell junk” sells many items at once by rarity. Triples ready to fuse, Godlike items and protected items always stay.
  • Protect: the lock protects an item from selling, dismantling, being pushed out of a full bag and being infused into Black Matter. You can protect up to 30 items below Godlike. “Fuse all” leaves a tile with a protected item alone. With the “Fuse ×3 → ★” button on a tile you can still fuse protected items, and the result stays protected.
  • “Equip best” puts the strongest item on every slot and weighs a two-handed weapon fairly against one-hand plus off-hand. “Unequip all” needs a second tap.

Name chains: which item turns into which

The name chains show which item turns into which, in the order base item → Godlike → Infinity → Black Matter → Singularity. They also tell you where an item came from: find its name and read to the left.

For weapon, off-hand, head and amulet the chain is fixed. From Infinity on, identical names are identical items: Rift of the Beginning from Neuro Edge and from Reese Saber fuse with each other, and so does Eternity Breaker from Sub Breaker and Amen Axe. For chest, pants and boots the names from Infinity on depend on the zone your three Godlike items are on when you fuse them, or on the highest one if their zones differ: that is the number after the T on the tile (Godlike items grow with you). There are three groups: zone 1, 4, 7, 10 …, zone 2, 5, 8, 11 … and zone 3, 6, 9, 12 …

6. Rift Portal, God Sparks and Dark Portal

Rift Portal

  • In the Portal tab, every charge opens the rift and draws a random reward. A charge costs one free charge or 75 gems. You can open 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 charges at once and skip the animation.
  • What's inside: mostly gold or an item (Common or Rare), less often an epic item, a tower life or an arena ticket, rarely a companion or a legendary item, very rarely a Godlike item, a Godlike companion or a Rift Stone. Sometimes you get “Nothing”. The “Drop chances” button in the game shows the exact odds.
  • Legendary guarantee: the n/50 counter keeps track. The 50th charge at the latest is at least legendary. The counter starts over after every legendary or Godlike find and stays through a rebirth.
  • Free charges come from ads (up to 3 a day), “TO THE HUNT!”, the login bonus, the Hunter's Journey, vaults, the Tower, the Wheel of Fortune, companion finds, the weekly goal, community, inviting friends, a one-time survey, the Hollow, Onslaught Marks, Ascent Packs and festivals.
  • Survey: after 3 hours of playtime the game asks you once “How satisfied are you with INFINIDROP?” For your answer you get 10 free charges by mail.
  • LUCKY TIME makes all rare finds in the Rift Portal twice as likely (chapter 19).

God Sparks

If you wear Legendary or better on at least three slots, every “Nothing” gives you one God Spark. With 100 God Sparks you open “REDEEM GOD SPARKS”: first “Choose the slot”, then “Choose the base”, for example Wobble Blade, Reese Saber or Amen Axe. You get exactly that Godlike item. This matters because three Godlike items only fuse into Infinity with the same base, and Infinity items only gain a star with identical Infinity items. That way every spark item fits the fusion you are working on. For chest, pants and boots the base is only the look, they fuse freely anyway. You also get God Sparks when you dismantle Godlike items: 35 per item (chapter 5).

Dark Portal

  • When your first Black Matter item reaches core level 10, the Nameless One tells you his story and the Dark Portal appears below the Rift Portal.
  • Rift Ember: one demon core and one Rift Stone make one charge of Rift Ember.
  • Opening a charge: with a good chance you get an Annihilator Core, otherwise the normal Rift Portal rewards twice over. Its own guarantee bar makes sure you get an Annihilator Core within 30 charges at the latest.
  • Converting: on an equipped Black Matter item with core level 10 and three stars, “CONVERT” appears. One Annihilator Core turns it into a Singularity item with double the value; everything the old item had goes into it, stars included.
  • Improving: with “Embed Annihilator Core” your Singularity item climbs core levels up to 10, each level +10% to all stats. The chance drops with the level, and here too the next attempt is guaranteed after three failed attempts at the same level.
  • Singularity has its own set and, with 7 of 7, the SINGULARITY FORM on top of the Demon form.
↑ Back to contents

7. Fate Stones

The “Fate Stones” card in the Battle tab opens from stage 8. For 3 Luck Shards you summon three stones (“SUMMON”).

  • TRIAD (three identical numbers): gold, gold potions, XP potions, rage potions or gems. The higher the number, the better.
  • SEAL CHAIN! (three numbers in a row): one food for your companion.
  • Two identical: the third stone may roll once more. Otherwise the ritual fizzles out.
  • Luck Shards drop now and then from kills, more from bosses and titans. Packs are in the Special Shop.
  • With the Starter pack the game summons for you (“Auto-summon”).
  • Trade spare shards for gold in the same window (“✧ → Gold”, from 50 shards). The rate rises with your current stage.
↑ Back to contents

8. Bag

  • Under Hero, Bag you keep everything you are not wearing. You start with 60 slots and can expand in steps of 5 up to 80 for gems.
  • Godlike, Infinity, Black Matter and Singularity take up no bag space, so your whole fusion stock fits.
  • The header shows how full it is (for example 72/80) and turns yellow shortly before the bag is full.
  • Bag full: when a new item comes in, the least valuable unprotected item below Godlike is sold automatically, and a legendary one is dismantled into Echo Shards. A grey line in the log tells you what happened. Godlike and higher, protected items and the item you just took off are never pushed out.
  • Your bag also holds your potions, Rift Ember and Annihilator Cores.
↑ Back to contents

9. Skill tree and rebirth

Skills

Under Hero, Abilities, Skills you spend skill points. Every level up gives one point.

  • Strength: +4% damage per point, no cap
  • Vitality: +5% health per point, no cap
  • Precision: +2% crit per point, up to 15 points, from level 10
  • Speed: +5% attack speed per point, up to 12 points
  • Lifesteal: part of your damage heals you, up to 6 points, from level 15 and after your first rebirth
  • Gold Greed: +8% gold per point, up to 10 points

After your first rebirth, “Buy +1 skill point” lets you buy extra points for gold, each one costs more.

Skill points after a rebirth

After a rebirth your spent points stay in the tree, greyed out (inactive). Every new skill point brings back the next one, in exactly the order you originally spent them. So you never have to spend them again by hand. The display “Inactive: n” tells you how many are still waiting.

“Reset skill points” gives all active points back to you to spend freely. The inactive ones leave the tree and come back with your levels. The first reset is free, after that it costs 1,000 gems. From then on the tree remembers your new order.

Rebirth

  • From stage 20 you can start over under Hero, Rebirth, though not during a vault run. If Primal Leap lets you start further ahead, the threshold is higher; the Rebirth tab shows it (“from stage …”).
  • What you lose: level, gold, stage, active skill points (they wait inactive in the tree) and all items below Godlike. Legendary items are turned into Echo Shards automatically.
  • What you keep: Godlike, Infinity, Black Matter and Singularity, companions, gems, the legendary guarantee, Luck Shards, food, potions, missions, your best stage, permanent upgrades, Legacy, titles, guild, runes, the chest, bought bag slots and your Forge Overflow.
  • On your first rebirth the game shows you exactly what you will lose and asks once more.
  • Rebirth tiers: every 100 rebirths give you a tier, from 1,000 rebirths on every 500. Each tier adds +1% crit, and 1% of attack speed above the cap counts as damage. The Rebirth tab shows your tier and when the next one comes.
  • How your tiers work: below the REBIRTH card a fold-out explains Rebirth tier, Echo Edge and your permanent bonuses. Its buttons open the STATS window and your stats.

Automation

  • Under Hero, Rebirth, in the Automation tab you unlock the Automation Machine after 50 rebirths, right away with Turbo Mode. Until then you see it greyed out: the card shows how many rebirths are still missing and has a button to get Turbo. Below the card, “How does the automation work?” explains the rules in three sentences.
  • Setup: you choose a target stage and a duration from one to ten hours. While the game is open, the machine works for free and the button shows “START · FREE”. Before the start the machine shows roughly how many shards you get and warns you if the target stage is too high: it only triggers once you reach that stage, until then it brings no shards.
  • Run: while the game is open and your hero fights in the stages, the machine does every rebirth at the target stage for you, right away if you are already past it. Its time only runs while it can work: in the background, in a vault, in the Onslaught, in Arena and Tower, with open windows and while you are stunned it waits. You can change the target stage at any time.
  • Offline mode: with Turbo Mode you can tick Offline mode before the start. Then the machine also runs while the game is closed, and when you come back you get shards for that time, based on your pace in the running game. 8 hours a day are free and are booked when you start, every extra hour costs 4,000 gems; the card shows how many free hours you have left today. New free hours arrive every day at 00:00 UTC, the game shows you the time in your local time. The machine measures your pace in the running game; until it has done a few rebirths there, the card shows after how many rebirths that works. Offline you only get shards, no rebirths. Without Turbo Mode the box stays greyed out.
  • Keep running offline: if the machine is running for free in the game, Turbo Mode lets you send it into offline mode with “Keep running offline”: you choose the duration, see the free hours and the price, and can close the game afterwards. If the machine has already measured your pace, it takes it along right away.
  • Pause: you can pause the machine and let it run again at any time, the remaining time stays yours; pausing gives no paid gems back. If we end a run, for example because of a problem, you get the share of the paid gems for the remaining time back by mail.
  • Tip: for long runs take a night potion or a Potion of the Clear Day, otherwise your hero gets stunned and the machine waits. The game suggests the potion when you start.

Echo Shards and permanent upgrades

  • A rebirth gives you Echo Shards, the higher your stage, the more. You also get shards for every new world, for new best stages from stage 200, for dismantling and from the Echo Smelter.
  • Permanent upgrades: Primal Power (damage), Primal Greed (gold, no cap), Primal Wisdom (XP), Primal Leap (you start a few stages further on), Primal Luck (crit), Primal Focus (crit cap, up to +30%), Primal Pulse (speed) and Primal Aegis (health). Every level costs a little more. “Reset upgrades” gives you all shards back for 2,000 gems.
  • Echo Resonance: for every 1,000 shards you do not spend, you get +1% damage and health. From 100,000 shards on, every further 10,000 shards add +1%, with no end.
  • Echo Edge: for every 5,000 shards you do not spend, you get one tier of Echo Edge, with no end. Each tier sharpens your crit and your speed a little: it raises your crit total, and a further part of your attack speed above the cap counts as damage. If you spend shards, Echo Resonance and Echo Edge go down again. The Rebirth tab shows your tier and how many shards the next one needs.
  • Echo Smelter: melt gold into shards, one shard per 1 million gold, up to 50 a day.

10. Vaults, runes and study

The five vaults

From level 15 the vault gate in the bottom left of the battle scene opens the vault map. Every vault has its own rune and essence:

  • Ember Crater: Meteor, Ember Essence
  • Swamp Grotto: Poison Cloud, Venom Essence
  • Rock Chamber: Stone Skin, Rock Essence
  • Storm Pinnacle: Chain Lightning, Storm Essence
  • Blood Arena: Frenzy, Wrath Essence

A run

  • Every UTC day you get 3 vault keys, and one entry costs one key. Unused keys expire. You can get one extra key for Onslaught Marks.
  • A run has 50 stages with fixed enemies. Bosses on stages 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 secure your loot. If you die or leave, you only lose what you collected since the last boss.
  • Boss 10 gives 3 charges, boss 20 gives the rune on your first win and essence after that, the other bosses give essence. Every repeat win against the end boss brings a demon core.
  • After every win against the end boss the next run gets harder and brings more loot (cycle).

Runes

  • Meteor: one massive hit
  • Poison Cloud: damage over time (never kills)
  • Stone Skin: you take less damage
  • Chain Lightning: several hits in a row
  • Frenzy: more attack speed

Up to 3 runes are active. Their buttons sit below the battle and recharge after use. Runes work in battle, in the vaults and in the Tower. Every active rune also gives a small permanent passive (speed, damage, crit, poison or health). Runes go up to level 99 (“★ MAX” only at 99) and keep getting better beyond level 10.

Study

  • Under Hero, Abilities, Runes you study the next level of a rune: you pay gold and essence at the start, then a playtime clock runs. It only runs while the game is open. Without a Study Pack you have one study slot, so one study runs at a time.
  • Study slots: With the Study Pack (chapter 22) you get a second study slot, with Study Pack Tier 2 a third. Then you study several runes at the same time, each rune in its own slot, each slot with its own playtime clock. At the top of the runes area the “Study slots” card shows every slot with rune, target level and time left; that is where you finish or cancel. On a free slot, tap a rune and start its study in its card. A rune already being studied in another slot is greyed out there. If another slot is available, “To the shop” takes you to the Study Pack.
  • “Ad: −30 min” shortens the study in your first study slot up to three times a day. You can finish any study instantly for gems. If you cancel, you get your essence back.
  • MYSTIC TIME doubles the essence from vaults and shortens studies that start during the event.
  • Level 10 earns you the title “Rune Master”.

Slots, reset and restore

A rune gets its slot with its first study. If three are already active, switching needs a demon core (reset). The level you researched stays remembered (“Remembered: level n”): with “Restore” you put it back later for free.

11. Critical hits and the crit ladder

A critical hit deals 2.2 times the damage. Your crit chance comes from Precision, gear, your companion, set bonuses, Primal Luck, the Chain Lightning passive, your rebirth tiers and your Echo Edge. It is capped at 70%, and Primal Focus raises the cap by up to 30% to 100%. The weak spot always hits critically.

The crit ladder

Whatever your crit total (all crit sources together) collects above 100% is no longer wasted: every critical hit can climb one tier higher. Whether a hit is a crit at all is still decided by your crit chance and its cap. The tiers are Super Crit, Hyper Crit, Ultra Crit, Mega Crit, Giga Crit and Omega Crit, and each one deals more damage than the one before. After Omega Crit the ladder goes on without end: Omega Crit II, Omega Crit III and so on.

  • Crit total 110%: every crit has a 10% chance of becoming a Super Crit
  • from 200%: every crit is at least a Super Crit, at 240% with a 40% chance of a Hyper Crit
  • from 300%: every crit is at least a Hyper Crit, at 370% with a 70% chance of an Ultra Crit
  • from 700%: every crit is at least an Omega Crit, from 800% at least an Omega Crit II, from 900% at least an Omega Crit III, and so on without end

With full Primal Focus (crit cap 100%), every hit is then a crit and the ladder applies to every hit. The hero stats show your guaranteed tier with your crit chance, followed by the next tier and its chance per hit, for example “Crit 100% · Super Crit 10%”. In battle, the colour and size of the number show which tier hit; from Omega Crit on, the number glows, alternating gold and violet from tier to tier. Crit on gear keeps its value late in the game.

12. Permanent bonuses, milestones and stage finds

Permanent bonuses

  • +1% damage for good per 100,000 monsters slain
  • +1% health for good per 10,000 stages cleared (every cleared stage counts, also again after a death or rebirth)

Neither has a cap. A line in the log tells you when you reach a threshold. You also see your permanent bonus and how much is missing until the next one in your stats and under Hero, Rebirth in the fold-out “How your tiers work”.

Milestones

For every 250 stages of your best stage you get +1% damage for good, with no cap. The bonus works everywhere: in battle, in the Tower, in the arena, in guild battles and against the guild boss. The stage box shows “Next milestone: stage N · +1% damage”.

Stage finds

Stage finds depend on the stage you are fighting in right now:

  • from stage 250: Godlike items drop twice as often
  • from stage 750: stage bosses can drop a Rift Stone
  • from stage 1500: stage bosses can drop a demon core
  • from stage 3000: stage bosses can drop an Annihilator Core (once the Dark Portal is open)

Open the “STAGE FINDS” overview by tapping the milestone line. Every find is listed there as “Active” or “Not yet”, and your permanent bonuses are shown below.

13. Companions

The five companions

  • Sub Wisp (Common): comes at the end of the prologue
  • Vinyl Hummingbird (Rare): rarely from bosses, from the Rift Portal or in the Starter pack
  • Hi-Hat Falcon (Epic): rarely from bosses or from the Rift Portal
  • Neuro Phoenix (Legendary): very rarely from bosses or from the Rift Portal
  • Drop Leviathan (Godlike): only from the Rift Portal, very rare

Only the equipped companion gives bonuses. All of them give crit, from the Hummingbird more gold, from the Falcon more damage and bleed (damage over time), from the Phoenix healing. From level 5 your companion also attacks on its own. You switch companions under Hero, Companion with a tap in the collection.

Feeding and overfeeding

  • Feed: +1 level per tap for gems, more expensive with higher level and rarity. Maximum level 20, 25 for the Leviathan, 5 more with every form.
  • Overfeed: at maximum level, with food. Every portion gives +30% to your companion's damage, crit, healing, bleed and auto attack (not gold) for 15 minutes and extends a running boost by another 15 minutes, with no cap.
  • You get food from the seal chain of the Fate Stones and from festivals.

Evolution

Duplicate companions from boss finds and the portal become copies. With 2 copies and gold you evolve your companion into its next form (“Evolve”), and there are three forms in total. Its level stays and the maximum level rises by 5. The form itself gives no combat stats; the extra power comes from the higher levels. The gold price is fixed and rises with the rarity, and the window shows it exactly. Copies beyond the third form turn into gems again.

Mood

Every companion has a mood that only affects gold and XP:

  • Happy: +3% gold and XP
  • Satisfied: +1%
  • Bored: ±0
  • Sad: −2%

The mood only drops while you play, never while the app is closed, in standby or while the night potion or the Potion of the Clear Day is running. You lift it by petting (tap the big picture of your companion, the first pet of the day counts extra), feeding, overfeeding, a treat (5,000 gold, at maximum level) and evolving.

14. Potions, stuns and standby

The stun: roots and ice

If you do not touch anything for a very long time, your hero gets held in place: “ROOTED!” or “FROZEN!”. Tap the glowing spots and you are free again (“FREED!”). There is no time limit, you cannot lose anything, the battle just waits. Stuns only happen in normal stage battles while the game is open, never below level 4 or before stage 8, never against bosses and titans, not in the arena, Tower or vaults and never while a potion is running. If the Automation Machine runs for a long time, take a night potion or a Potion of the Clear Day, otherwise your hero gets stunned and the machine waits.

Potion of Steadfastness (night potion)

  • Protects you from every stun for 8 hours, 10 hours with VIP. Your hero can farm through the night as long as the game stays open.
  • It is in your bag from stage 8. Brewing costs one ad video, with VIP or AD-FREE it is free. The next potion is ready 20 hours after your last start at the earliest.
  • The potion brewer keeps a share of the gems you find in battle. Purchases, mail and ad gems are not affected.
  • At the end, the “NIGHT REPORT” shows playtime, kills, stage, gold, loot and your gems.

Potion of the Clear Day

The same effect for 4 hours, twice within 24 hours, one ad video per start (free with VIP or AD-FREE). The potion brewer keeps a slightly bigger share here. It never runs at the same time as the night potion, but one after the other works. At the end comes the “DAY REPORT”.

More potions

Gold potion (double gold, 10 minutes), XP potion (double XP, 10 minutes) and Rage potion (+50% damage, 5 minutes). Their durations stack. You get them from the Fate Stones and festivals and use them in your bag with “Use”.

Offline reward

While the app is closed, the server pays you “WELCOME BACK!” at your next start: 1,200 gems per 24 hours away, for up to 24 hours (48 hours with VIP). For the first seven days after you create your account it is three times as high: up to 3,600 gems, with VIP up to 7,200. Under 10 minutes you get nothing. Battles, gold and loot only happen while the game is open.

Standby

After 5 minutes without a tap, a dark battery saver turns on. Your hero keeps fighting and the sound is off. You see the time, stage, gold, gems, the time left on your potion and your battery. To exit, swipe right. You can turn standby off under Settings, General.

15. Onslaught Arena

The active battle mode: you steer your hero yourself through wave after wave, with your stats from the main game.

  • Access: from stage 10 through the portal on the left of the battle scene. You have up to 3 entries, one recharges every hour.
  • Controls: hold = run, release = shoot.
  • Waves: a boss comes every 10 waves. In between, “ONSLAUGHT INCOMING!” sends a flood of monsters.
  • Call the next wave: the double arrow calls the next wave right away, so you fight several waves at once, harder but faster. At most two called waves can be open, never during a boss wave. A wave only counts as cleared when all monsters of that wave and of all waves before it are beaten.
  • Cards: before wave 1 you pick one of three open starter cards. After every 5th wave the game offers three cards, good, bad and mixed ones, or you take none. If you do not choose within 15 seconds, the game picks one at random (“Auto-pick in n s”). It then says “Card picked automatically”. You always choose the starter card yourself. From wave 10 you may discard one card per run and draw a new one.
  • Perks: rarely, a perk lies on the ground, for example ONE HIT KILL! or INVINCIBLE!
  • Hardcore: “START HARDCORE RUN” with tough, fixed enemies, a boss every 5 waves, triple marks and its own best wave.
  • Speed-Ticket: for 1,000,000 gold a run plays 2.5 times as fast, and you can switch it during the run.
  • Auto run: below START RUN sits the AUTO RUN button. It opens the choice between STANDARD and HARDCORE; each card shows your best wave in that mode, the Marks of your best run and the Marks the auto run brings. Tapping a card uses one entry and instantly gives you part of the Marks of your best run in that mode, without playing. Without a best run the card stays locked (“No best run yet”). New best waves, milestones and the season only count in a real run.

Onslaught Marks and token shop

  • Every cleared wave brings Onslaught Marks, every 5th wave more. New best waves give one-time bonus marks.
  • In the Special Shop under “ONSLAUGHT MARKS” you trade them for gems, portal charges, a vault key and Rift Stones, each with a daily limit.
  • The token shop there offers a “Godlike item” (with a weekly limit), once a week a “Godlike of your choice” (you pick the slot and base item) and two infinite upgrades: “Gold & XP +1%” and “Damage & Health +1%”. For the upgrades the price doubles with every level. The week starts on Thursday at 00:00 UTC.
  • You buy tower attacks for marks directly in the Tower.

Rankings and season

The WORLD RANKING shows the top 50 per mode. The Onslaught season lasts 14 days and changes on Sunday at 18:00 UTC, normal and hardcore separately. There are five leagues from Bronze to Champion: everyone starts in Bronze, the top three move up and the bottom three move down. The world's best and the top three of every league receive rewards by mail.

↑ Back to contents

16. Tower

  • Layout: 100 floors, each with a warden. Every 10th floor has a boss with its own rule (shield, rage, healer, thorns, speed or phases). At the very top the rift awaits with the RIFT WARDEN, and bonus floors follow above it.
  • Fights: two bars show your power and your health, each against the recommendation for the next warden.
  • Attacks: 5 in stock, one more every hour, and your stock is full again at the UTC day change. Buy more with “BUY ATTACK” for Onslaught Marks.
  • Tower lives: you have 3 (5 with VIP). Only a defeat costs one. New lives come from arena wins and the Rift Portal. Without lives the Tower is locked.
  • Rewards: gold on every floor, gems on every 5th, chests in every ring and big rewards on the boss floors. Floor 30 brings a guaranteed epic item, floor 50 a legendary one, floor 75 a Godlike one. From floor 70 you get Rift Stones. Floor 100 brings the Warden's Blade, the RIFTWALKER skin and the RIFT WARDEN title.
  • Battle Pass: a second reward track with gems, arena tickets, charges, the season skin on floor 25 and the golden frame. You buy it per tower season, and it is included in VIP. Even if you buy it late, you still get everything you have already unlocked.
  • Season: a season lasts one calendar month (UTC). At the end the Tower collapses, you get mail for your best floor, and everything starts over. Lives and the golden frame stay.
  • Skip floors: “SKIP FLOORS” costs gems per floor and only works up to the next boss floor. You get all rewards, and it costs no attacks and no lives.
  • “FURTHEST IN THE TOWER” shows the top three of the season.

17. Arena and duels

  • Access: from level 4, in the app with a linked account (fair play protection). The LEAGUE tab holds ranked duels, in the PARTY tab you play the Rift Expedition (chapter 25), FRIENDLY holds fun fights.
  • Opponents: the real heroes of other players with their real stats, no bots. The search looks in your league, and from the second league on about every third opponent comes from the league below. “New opponent” rolls a new one, but not without limit.
  • Arena tickets: a duel costs one ticket. You get one every hour, up to 10 (15 with VIP). If your stock is full, bonus tickets turn into gems. Bought tickets never expire. There is no daily limit on duels.
  • Duel: it runs automatically, both sides with all their stats and companion. After 30 seconds the one with more health left wins. At the end you see “VICTORY!” or “DEFEAT”.
  • Points: wins bring points, defeats cost points (never below 0). Against a lower league you get fewer points, and the defender loses nothing. Defenders also win and lose points when they are attacked. Every win brings gems and gold right away.
  • Leagues: 13 leagues in five groups: Bronze 3, 2, 1, Silver 3, 2, 1, Gold 3, 2, 1, Diamond 3, 2, 1 and Champion.
  • Season: a season lasts 7 days and ends on Tuesday at 00:00 UTC. Then points are halved, the top three of a league move up and the bottom three move down. Every league pays season gems by mail, and the top three get more; players who move down get nothing. Champion place 1 receives the “CHAMPION” title and Rift Stones, and more Rift Stones go to Champion places 2 and 3 and to the winners of the Diamond leagues. The “Season rewards” card shows the amounts.
  • Wheel of Fortune: after a ranked duel the Wheel of Fortune rarely spins (chapter 21).
  • Friendly duel: free, without a ticket and without league points, against friends or by name, with real stats.

18. Guild, guild boss and guild battles

Joining and founding

  • From level 6, with a linked account. Founding a guild costs 5,000 gold.
  • A guild is “Open” or takes members by application only, optionally with a requirement (level, stage or rebirths).
  • After leaving or being kicked you cannot join a guild for 24 hours.
  • Tap a guild, for example in the guild search or the guild league, to see its guild level, description and members; tap a member to see their hero, and “Report guild” reports another guild.
  • When a guild invites you, the Guild tab lights up.

Ranks and permissions

LEADER, OFFICER, VETERAN and MEMBER. Only the leader promotes and demotes. Under “Rank permissions” the leader decides who may invite, handle applications, manage guild battles, kick, mute and edit the description. If the leader is inactive for 14 days, an active member takes over automatically. If you may invite, you also find “Invite to guild” when you inspect a player who is not in a guild.

Donations and guild level

  • Gem donation: raises the combat buffs, more damage and more gold for everyone.
  • Gold bank: raises the expansion, more XP and more member slots (up to 35).
  • Both together make up the guild level. It unlocks: the Ultra Dungeon from level 4, the double daily goal reward from 5, more slots from 8, +5% gold for everyone from 12 and the Demon crest from 16.
  • Donations have limits per donation and per day. The bank itself is only capped until the guild level is full; after that guild tier 2 takes over.
  • Guild tier 2: once both banks are full (guild level 20), guild tier 2 begins. Donations go on: every further 25,000 gems add +1% damage and every further 100M gold +2% gold for all members, with no end. The donation card then shows “GUILD TIER 2”.

Daily goal, chat and treasure

  • Guild daily goal: every day one of three goals for the whole guild: kills, bosses and titans, or gold donations. Once it is reached, every member claims gems.
  • Guild chat: tap a name to report, block or mute.
  • World chat: one room for all players. You can read and write with a linked account if you are at least 16 years old. You see the 50 most recent messages with player name and guild tag. Tap a name to report, block or view the profile. The server does not let links, email addresses or swear words through, and there are at least 5 seconds between two messages. If the window says that the world chat is being worked on, the chat is switched off for a while. Check back later.
  • Some names in the world chat carry a badge: HELPER (Community Helper), MOD (Moderator) or DEV (Developer). Moderators and Developers can hide messages and mute players in the world chat. If you are muted or your message is removed, you learn the reason by mail.
  • Guild description: up to 200 characters in 4 lines, without links or email addresses.
  • Guild Treasure: on random days, at most once a week, all members get gems by mail if enough members are active.
  • Guild week and Guild Expedition: on the overview, two cards show the guild week with its weekly letter and your guild's open Rift Expeditions (chapter 25).

Guild boss: the Ultra Dungeon

From guild level 4, the Fights tab holds a weekly boss for all guilds: THE DISTORTED, THE ASH MAW or THE BLACK ECHO. It has endless health and its damage grows every second. Your score is your damage over the time you survive, so your health counts too. You attack once a week (“Attack the boss (once per week)”). The week changes on Thursday at 00:00 UTC, and the top three guilds get gems for everyone who attacked.

Guild battles

  • “Find opponent” signs your guild up. This needs the “Manage guild battles” permission and at least 5 members.
  • Schedule: 24 hours of preparation, then one hour of battle.
  • Lineup: exactly as many fighters as the smaller guild has members (5 to 20). “Field the strongest” fills the list. Without a lineup the server fills it with active members.
  • Everyone in the lineup fights exactly one duel, rank against rank by real duel strength. During the battle hour one duel after the other is revealed, the weakest pair first: “Watch live” while it runs, “Watch the battle” afterwards.
  • The guild with more duel wins takes the battle, for example 11 : 7.
  • Rewards: guild points for the guild league and gems by mail for every fighter, more after a win. If the winner was clearly overpowered, there are fewer points and the loser loses none.

Guild league

Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Champion by guild points. A season lasts one month. The top three of every league share a gem pot, and there are the titles Guild Champion and Champion Elite.

19. Events, festivals and weekly schedule

Server events

  • LUCKY TIME: all rare finds in the Rift Portal are twice as likely (badge “×2 DROPS”).
  • ×2 GOLD: double gold from kills.
  • ×2 XP: double XP from kills.
  • MYSTIC TIME: double essence from vaults and shorter rune studies that start during the event.

When they start

The events follow a fixed weekly schedule, and every slot lasts 60 minutes (as of version 3.7, times in UTC):

  • ×2 XP: Mondays at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC
  • ×2 GOLD: Wednesdays at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC
  • LUCKY TIME: Fridays at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC
  • MYSTIC TIME: Sundays at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC

On top of that the team sometimes starts extra events, and a slot can also be skipped. That is why the clock in the game always has the final word: tap the small clock in the top right corner of the stage box. For all four events, the “NEXT EVENTS” window shows something like “live · 34m left” or “in 1d 3h”. If it only shows a dash, nothing is planned right now. A running event also shows up as a badge in the top right corner of the battle scene.

Hunt contract

Every week there is a hunt contract with its own ranking. The week runs from Tuesday 00:00 UTC to Tuesday 00:00 UTC, and it counts one of three kinds in turn: arena fights, rebirths or deaths. Depending on the kind of the week, every arena fight, every rebirth or every death earns 1 point. With enough points you reach tiers, and every tier sends you a reward by mail right away. The top 10 of the ranking get rewards by mail after the week ends. Only linked accounts appear in the ranking; without a link you still collect points and tiers. You find the hunt contract via the small clock in the top right corner of the stage box: below the events, the “NEXT EVENTS” window shows the “HUNT CONTRACT” card with the kind of the week, your points, your tier, the reward of the next tier, the top 10 and the time left.

Seasonal festivals

  • Festivals come around regularly through the year, always one at a time. You reach them through the festival button on the left of the battle scene and the ticket card at the top of the Special Shop.
  • You buy tickets only with gems, and there are free tickets every day (one of them via video). In the cauldron you stir with your tickets and draw prizes from the server: blades as grand prizes, backdrops, avatars, titles, gems, Rift Stones, charges, potions, gold and coins. The grand prizes come with a guarantee. The “Odds” window shows the real odds before every purchase.
  • A Festival Pass for gems with a pass skin, the Guild Cauldron (all members fill it together), the Luck Ranking and a coin shop.
  • After a festival the shop stays open for another 48 hours. Titles, avatars, backdrops and blades are yours to keep.
↑ Back to contents

20. Missions, Hunter's Journey, login bonus and titles

  • Missions: the Missions card in the Battle tab always holds three missions. Claim one and a new one appears right away. After every three claims your mission level rises (up to 30), and goals and rewards grow. “Swap mission” is free once a day, and “Reset missions” (2,000 gems) takes you back to level 1. Missions stay through a rebirth.
  • Block missions: With the Mission Blocker (chapter 22) you block mission types you don't like. In the Missions card, open the row “Block missions” below the buttons “Swap mission” and “Reset missions” and tap “Block” next to a type; “Blocked: 1/2” shows how many of your blocks are in use. A block applies to new missions: running missions and daily quests stay, and “Unblock” lifts a block at any time. Tier 1 blocks one type, Tier 2 two.
  • Weekly goal: in the TODAY window a new goal waits every week (vault kills, boss kills, arena fights or tower floors). Reward: 300 gems and one charge with a rare guarantee.
  • Daily quests: from stage 10, three daily quests wait in the TODAY window every day, for example using Onslaught entries, attacking in the Tower, starting a potion or petting your companion. Once a quest is done, tap “Claim” to get gems; once you have claimed all three, there is a daily bonus with gems and a portal charge. New quests arrive at 00:00 UTC, and unclaimed ones expire.
  • HUNTER'S JOURNEY: milestones in seven chapters, from Awakening to World Walker, with gems, gold, charges, Rift Stones and titles. Every step gets celebrated. Your stats are in the same window.
  • TODAY: shows what is up today at a glance: login bonus, missions, daily quests, guild daily goal, arena tickets, Onslaught entries, vault keys, Tower, potions, chest and ad rewards. A tap takes you there.
  • Login bonus: five ranks of 10 days each (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Champion, and Champion repeats). What counts is your login per UTC day. If you miss a day, the game protects your streak, once every seven days; the calendar then shows “Streak protected”. If you are away longer, the streak ends. After you claim, the calendar reminds you: “Log in tomorrow to keep your streak going.” Day 10 brings an item, a legendary one in the Champion rank. With a video you double the day's bonus (“CLAIM DOUBLE”), with AD-FREE without one.
  • Comeback gift: if you come back after a break of at least three days, a gift with gems and charges waits in your mail (“Welcome back!”); after at least seven days it is bigger and adds an item. There is at most one gift every 14 days, and only for accounts that are at least seven days old.
  • Titles: in your profile (Hero, tap your avatar) you pick your title. Titles come from achievements, for example Fresh Drop, Riser, Legend Hunter, Titan Slayer, Reborn, Leviathan Tamer, CHAMPION, RIFT WARDEN, Rune Master, Vault Conqueror, for worlds 2 to 10 and from festivals.

21. Surprises

  • Locked chest: from stage 30 a boss sometimes leaves a chest behind, never more than one. After 24 hours you open it with a tap: a rare, epic or (with luck) legendary item. If your bag is full, it waits.
  • The Hollow: from stage 20 he rarely appears after a boss and wants your best equipped item (Common to Legendary). You have 60 seconds for “Take it” or “Not with me”. Fifty-fifty: either an item of the next rarity for the same slot arrives by mail, or it is gone and you get a plain item and 5 charges.
  • Cursed item: from stage 50 a curse very rarely turns up. If you wear it (“I'll wear it”), you have much less damage and health everywhere. After 500 kills comes the redemption: a Godlike item by mail. “Remove curse” ends it without a reward.
  • Wheel of Fortune: after a ranked arena duel the Wheel of Fortune rarely spins, at most once a day: Godlike item, legendary item, gems, gold or charges.
  • Companion find: if you were away for more than an hour, your companion sometimes brings something back.
  • Titan cards: “THE TITAN CHALLENGES YOU”: three face-down cards, 30 seconds to choose, and the one you pick only counts for this fight. There are good, bad and mixed cards, and you may also take none.
  • Special finds: from your first rebirth on, the bottom of the EVENTS card shows the latest special find of any player from the last 48 hours, for example a newly created or completed Black Matter or Singularity item. Tap the name to see the hero.

22. Shop, gems, VIP and offers

Everything you buy with real money arrives by mail in your MAILBOX (arena tickets directly). The store shows prices in your currency. You find “Restore purchases” in the shop and under Settings, Account.

Gems, gold and the Special Shop

  • Five gem packs from 1,200 to 110,000 gems. The first purchase of every size counts double (badge “FIRST BUY ×2”).
  • Gold packs scale with your stage at the time of purchase.
  • Piggy Bank: while you play, your piggy bank collects an extra share of the gems you earn, up to a limit. Its card sits in the SPECIAL SHOP under GEMS and shows how full it is. A purchase pays out the whole content as gems by mail, and then it fills up again from the start; you can buy it once it has reached a minimum fill level. When it is full, the head of the Fate Stones card shows the “FULL” pill.
  • You reach the SPECIAL SHOP through the big button in the Portal tab or through the green plus next to your gold and gems. There you find free gems via video, in your first 48 hours the Newcomer Bundle, the Starter pack, permanent purchases, Ascent Packs, the Piggy Bank, Rift Stones and the Stone Card, Luck Shards, the Onslaught Marks with the token shop, festival tickets during a festival and your supporter tier.

Permanent purchases

  • Starter pack: gems, gold, the Vinyl Hummingbird and Auto-summon for the Fate Stones, once per account. From 15 minutes of play time, the game shows you the pack once in its own window.
  • Newcomer Bundle: the Starter pack and Turbo Mode ×2 together, cheaper than both on their own (the card shows next to it what both cost on their own). It is only in the SPECIAL SHOP during the first 48 hours after your account was created, with a countdown, and only as long as you own neither the Starter pack nor Turbo Mode. Once per account.
  • Turbo Mode ×2: double battle speed and offline mode for the Automation Machine with 8 hours a day for free; it also unlocks the machine itself right away.
  • XP Doubler ×2: double XP.
  • AD-FREE: every ad reward instantly, without a video, forever. The daily limits stay the same.
  • Overkill Pack: in stage battles your overkill damage wipes out up to three more monsters at once. Yours forever, even after rebirth.
  • Overkill Pack Tier 2 and Tier 3: each tier lets your overkill damage wipe out three more monsters: with the Overkill Pack and Tier 2 up to six, with all three up to nine at once. The card of the next tier appears once you own the previous one.
  • Study Pack and Study Pack Tier 2: one more study slot for your runes each (chapter 10): with one pack you study two runes at the same time, with both three. The Tier 2 card appears after the Study Pack. With the Study Pack you have two study slots, with Study Pack Tier 2 three. Both are permanent, also after rebirth.
  • Mission Blocker Tier 1 and Tier 2: block mission types you don't like (chapter 20): Tier 1 blocks one type, with Tier 2 you block two. The Tier 2 card appears after Tier 1.

What is Overkill? If your hit deals more damage than the monster has health, the Overkill Pack makes the rest jump to the next monsters: in stage battles you take down up to three more monsters at once, with Tier 2 up to six and with Tier 3 up to nine. Each of those kills counts as usual: gold, gems, loot, missions and permanent bonuses. You still defeat bosses and special enemies yourself. You can switch the Overkill chain on and off at any time in the settings under General.

VIP

The monthly subscription renews automatically; you can cancel at any time in your app store's subscription settings, at least 24 hours before renewal. It includes: the Battle Pass of every tower season, 150 gems a day by mail, up to 15 arena tickets instead of 10, 5 tower lives instead of 3 and more of them from the arena, the offline reward for up to 48 hours, the night potion without ads and for 10 instead of 8 hours, the Potion of the Clear Day without ads and the “VIP” title. The subscription terms with price, duration, renewal and cancellation are shown open on the VIP card in the SPECIAL SHOP, with the links “Terms & Conditions” and “Privacy Policy” below them, on iPhone and iPad also “Terms of Use (EULA)”. “Subscription terms” folds the text away and opens it again.

Stone Card and Ascent Packs

  • Stone Card (30 days): right away and then every day one demon core and one Rift Stone by mail. Letters do not expire. It sits in the Special Shop next to the Rift Stone and can be bought once the Rift Forge is unlocked. While it has less than 30 days left, another purchase extends it.
  • Ascent Packs: when you reach stage 50, 100 and 200, a one-time pack with gems, portal charges and, from stage 100, Rift Stones is offered. Each offer lasts 48 hours from reaching the stage. When you reach the stage, a window points it out to you once (“View offer”).
  • 1-DAY OFFER: now and then there are double gems on big gem packs for 24 hours.

Supporter tier and the €200 milestone

  • Your SUPPORTER TIER depends on the total of all your purchases and never resets, not even monthly. Tiers: Spark, Ember, Flame, Sun, Supernova, Nebula, Galaxy, Universe. Each tier gives a little more battle speed, damage, health and Echo Shards, plus faster arena tickets. Only you can see your tier.
  • Once your total reaches €200, you get a random Godlike item by mail once, and after that one for every calendar month in which you spend at least €200.

Ads

Ads only come as optional reward videos: 100 gems, one free charge and 30 minutes off a rune study (each up to three times a day), a double login bonus, both potions and a festival ticket. You change your consent under “Privacy settings (ads)”, on Android devices outside Europe with the switch “Measuring our ads” under Settings, Other.

Skins, blades and backdrops

  • Skins change your hero's look and give a small blessing to one stat. You get them from achievements, in the Tower, in the Battle Pass, in the shop and in the Festival Pass. Duplicates are replaced.
  • Blades are weapon skins from the festival cauldron and make your weapon stronger.
  • Backdrops are bought with gold and are purely visual. You choose them via the name plate below your hero stage.

23. Mail and codes

  • Mailbox: the letter in the top bar opens the MAILBOX. That is where purchases arrive, plus VIP gems, the Stone Card, Ascent Packs, comeback gifts, season rewards from the arena, Tower, Onslaught and guild, gems from guild battles and the guild boss, rewards from the Rift Expedition and the guild week, event and festival rewards and much more. “Claim” collects the contents. Even if you delete a letter, its contents are credited first.
  • Reward codes: under Settings, Other you enter a reward code and tap “Redeem”. Every code works once per account, creator codes at most one per account. You can find codes on our Discord, for example.
  • Invite code: you find your own in your profile (chapter 24).
↑ Back to contents

24. Account, friends, stats and privacy

Account

  • On the first start the game creates an anonymous account, without email or password. Your progress is saved in the cloud on servers in the EU. If you sign in with Google right at the first start (on iPhone and iPad also with Apple), your account is linked right away.
  • If you link your account with Google (on iPhone and iPad also with Apple), your progress is safe and moves with you to any new device. Linking is required for the arena league, guilds, the world chat, skins, rankings and season mail.
  • New device: sign in with the same account. The old device then shows “SIGNED IN ON ANOTHER DEVICE”. If you sign out without linking, you lose your account.
  • If your game version is too old, the game shows “UPDATE REQUIRED”. “Go to store” takes you to the update.
  • INFINIDROP is meant for people aged 16 and over.

Friends and inspection

  • You manage friends in your profile (Hero, tap your avatar): enter a name, “Add”, and the other player accepts or declines. You can have up to 20 friends. When you get a friend request, the game tells you with a short message. You do not see friend requests from players you have blocked.
  • Invite friends: share “Your invite code”. Only players below level 15 without a rebirth can redeem it. You become friends right away. When your friend reaches level 15, you get 10 free charges and they get 5. You can invite up to 5 friends.
  • Inspection: tap a name in rankings, the guild, your friends list, the Tower, the Onslaught, a guild battle, the special finds or the world chat (there via “Profile”) to see the hero, gear, runes, skin, backdrop, companion and guild. If you are not friends yet, “Add friend” sends a friend request; if the player has already sent you one, you accept or decline it right there.

Stats

Your stats count playtime, monsters slain, stages cleared, deaths, gems spent and gold spent. You find your own in the HUNTER'S JOURNEY window, in the STATS window (Hero, All stats, button “Stats” at the bottom) and under Hero, Rebirth in the fold-out “How your tiers work”; below its rows you also see your permanent bonuses and how many monsters and stages are missing until the next one. You only see other players' stats if you are friends.

Settings

  • General: sound effects, music, vibration, effects and animations (Full, Reduced, Minimal), standby screen, press and hold, with any Overkill Pack the Overkill chain, notifications and language.
  • Account: link, restore purchases, sign out, your save and “Delete save & restart”.
  • Other: reward code, report a bug, community (website, Reddit, Discord, YouTube and Manual, which is this page; Discord and Reddit give you 3 charges once each), privacy settings (ads) or the switch “Measuring our ads” and legal.

Privacy and deleting your account

  • The privacy policy explains which data the game processes. The rules of the game are in the terms of use, details about the provider in the imprint.
  • Rift Expedition: we store rounds, contributions and rewards for 30 days, searching for other players for at most ten minutes, invites for at most 24 hours and reports for at most 90 days; your “Not with this player again” list and your record stay until your account is deleted.
  • Deleting your account in the game: Settings, Account, “Delete save & restart”, then confirm the final warning. Your account is then marked for deletion and is deleted for good after 90 days. Until then, support can undo the deletion. Without the app, use the delete account page.

25. Rift Expedition

In the Rift Expedition, 2 to 5 real players fight a Rift Colossus together. Everyone fights with their real stats, and everyone sees live what the others are doing.

Getting in

  • PARTY tab: in the arena between LEAGUE and FRIENDLY. You can join in from stage 10 with a linked account (“Link your account to play with others.”).
  • Colossus of the day: every day a different one of the five Colossi is waiting: Shadow Dragon, Flame Beast, Shard King, Hollowmaw or Star Devourer. They look different and attack differently, but on the same tier they are equally strong.
  • Your record: the highest Colossus tier you have beaten shows in the PARTY tab and in your profile.

Finding a party

  • Open party: you open your own lobby and first choose who may join: “Open: players who are searching can join.” or “Closed: only invited players and your code.”
  • Code: every lobby has a short code (“Your party code”). Share it, on Discord for example; with “Enter code” your teammates come straight in.
  • Find players: the game puts you into an open lobby with other players who are searching. If nobody turns up right now, it honestly says “Nobody found. Invite a friend or share your code.”, and the search keeps going for a while.
  • Invite a friend: you invite friends and members of your guild into your lobby. With “With notification” your friend gets a notification, but only if they allowed notifications. The invite also waits in their PARTY tab as long as your lobby is open.
  • Guild Expedition: a lobby just for your guild. You also see open guild lobbies on your guild's overview. When members of the same guild fight together, there are a few more gems.

The lobby

  • A party has 2 to 5 slots. In the lobby you see your heroes with name, level and best stage.
  • Ready and start: everyone taps “Ready”. When everyone is ready, the countdown starts by itself; the party leader can also tap “Start”. You cannot start alone (“At least two hunters”).
  • Tier: the party leader picks the Colossus tier. “Recommended: tier …” is the highest tier your party beats according to the calculation. You can go higher, up to a limit. If a teammate shows “Danger: … might fall”, the tier is risky for them.
  • Reward: “Higher tier, higher reward”. The tiers go on without end, the reward does not: “From tier 366 on, the reward stays the same. Beyond that it is all about glory: your record.”
  • If the party leader leaves the lobby, another hunter takes over the party.

Rewarded rounds and Rift Hours

  • Rewarded rounds: per UTC day you have three rewarded rounds, one more with VIP (“Rewarded rounds today: … left”). Once they are used up, you buy more rounds for gems with “Extra round”. Without a free round you cannot start an expedition or join one.
  • Rift Hours: every day at 13:00 and at 21:00 UTC, rewards are doubled for one hour (“Rift Hour is on”). The lobby shows you when the next one starts.
  • Mail: your reward arrives by mail, gems and charges for the Rift Portal. Even without a victory there is a smaller reward.

The fight

  • After the countdown the fight window opens: your heroes on the left, the Colossus on the right with its health bar, tier and clock. Everyone attacks with their real stats, the Colossus winds up and hits one of you.
  • Weak spot: a weak spot keeps lighting up on the Colossus, in the same place for everyone. Tap it and you hit harder.
  • IMPACT: one hit with full power; after that the button recharges briefly.
  • Signals: quick signals without free text, each player sees them in their own language: “Let's go!”, “Thanks!”, “Well done!”, “Weak spot!”, “Another round?” and “One moment!”.
  • Falling: if your health drops to zero, your hero falls (“You have fallen. Your group fights on.”). You stay in and watch the fight to the end.
  • Connection: if the connection drops, your slot shows “Reconnecting”, and then it goes on. If you put the app away for a moment, your group keeps fighting; when you come back, you are in again.
  • Leaving the fight: if you close the window in the middle of the fight, the game asks “Leave the fight?”, because: “You won't get a reward then.”

Result, record and reporting

  • Result: “VICTORY!”, “TIME UP”, “FALLEN” or “CALLED OFF”. The card shows your contribution and whether your reward is on its way by mail. With “Another round?” you open the next lobby right away; if you missed the card, you find it in the PARTY tab under “View result”.
  • No reward? Whoever was only there briefly or left the fight goes away empty-handed (“Not there long enough for a reward”); if no rewarded round is left, it says “No more rewarded rounds today”.
  • Record: only those who fought long enough in the victory and did not leave the round get a new record (“New record: tier …!”).
  • Report and avoid: on the result card you can report any teammate (“Report”, with a reason) or choose “Not with this player again”: you then won't be grouped together again. “Undo” lifts it.

Guild week

  • On your guild's overview, the “Guild week” card shows the weekly goal: claim the guild daily goal on enough days of the week. Your own days count (“Done”); below it you see on how many days your guild reached its daily goal.
  • Whoever reaches the weekly goal gets a “Guild week complete!” letter with gems and a Rift Stone after the week changes. The week changes on Thursdays, as for the guild boss.
  • The “Guild Expedition” card shows your guild's open lobbies and how many expeditions your guild fought this week.

Frequently asked questions

Does the failed-roll protection count per item or for all my items?

For all of them. The counter runs per core level for your whole account. Example: three failed attempts at core level 7, on one item or spread over several, and the next attempt at level 7 succeeds for sure, on any of your Black Matter items. Other levels have their own counters. After the guaranteed success, the counter for that level starts over.

Which route in the “ADD STARS” window is cheaper?

Always the route with two Infinity items that have exactly as many stars as your Black Matter item. The window marks it with “CHEAPER”. There your item counts as the third one, just like in a fusion, and on the one-item route it does not. Example at zero stars: two Infinity items without a star are 6 Godlike items in total, one Infinity item with one star is 9, and both routes end at one star. Only take the one-item route if you already own such an item and want to jump several stars at once.

Which Black Matter can I convert into Singularity?

Only a complete item: core level 10 and all three stars added with Infinity items. You also need an Annihilator Core and the open Dark Portal.

What happens to the stars when I convert to Singularity?

They are not lost. Everything the Black Matter item has goes into the base value of the new Singularity item, stars included. Singularity itself has no star slots; it grows through its own core levels with Annihilator Cores.

I have a Black Matter item. Which item did it come from?

Read the name chains from right to left: find the name of your Black Matter item and step back to the Infinity item and the base item. Some names are shared by two base items, for example Fang of the Hollow from Neuro Edge or Reese Saber. For chest, pants and boots the zone decides from Infinity on, not the base item.

Does Singularity have its own set bonus? Do I lose set bonuses when I upgrade?

Yes, Singularity has its own set with bonuses at 3 and 5 pieces, and 7 of 7 unlocks the SINGULARITY FORM on top of the Demon form. Every Singularity piece also counts for the Black Matter, Godlike and Infinity sets. So you never lose a set bonus by upgrading.

Do God Sparks get me exactly the item I need?

Yes. When you redeem 100 God Sparks, you first choose the slot and then the exact base, for example Wobble Blade, Reese Saber or Amen Axe. You get exactly that Godlike item. Because Godlike items only fuse with the same base, every spark item fits the fusion you are working on.

What do I do with Godlike items of the wrong base?

Dismantle them into God Sparks, 35 per item, and redeem 100 sparks for exactly the base you need for your next fusion. So three dismantled items are enough for one item of your choice. If an item already belongs to a group for your next fusion, the window shows “Fusion: 2/3” or “Fusion: 3/3” first; better keep those.

My bag is full. Do Godlike items take up space, and how many slots are there?

No. Godlike, Infinity, Black Matter and Singularity take up no bag space, so your whole fusion stock fits. The slots are for the items below: you start with 60 and can expand in steps of 5 up to 80 for gems. If it gets tight there, “Sell junk” helps.

Can I fuse items from different zones?

From Epic on, yes: Epic, Legendary, Godlike and Infinity items fuse across all zones. Items from lower zones are first lifted to the highest of the three zones, and that is where the result lands. The stars must match. Common and Rare items still need the same zone.

Does the lock also protect from “Fuse all”?

Yes. “Fuse all” leaves every tile alone that holds a protected item, also for Godlike and Infinity items, which fuse across all zones. If you do want to fuse protected items, use the “Fuse ×3 → ★” button on that tile, and the result stays protected. The lock also protects an item from selling, dismantling, being pushed out of a full bag and being infused into Black Matter.

Do I need “Fuse all” for the fusion mission?

No. Missions like “Fuse 2×” count every single fusion. Tap a stack of three identical items, for example common or rare ones, and use “Fuse ×3 → ★”, and every one of these fusions counts. You do not have to touch your Godlike or Infinity items for it.

How do I get legendary items?

They drop from stage 70, most often from bosses and elites. On top of that there are the Rift Portal with its legendary guarantee (every 50th charge at the latest), the bonus level, the chest, the Tower (floor 50 guaranteed), the Wheel of Fortune, the login bonus in the Champion rank and the Hollow. Every legendary item you find also gives you a little more damage for good (Legendary Legacy).

Does my supporter tier reset every month?

No. Your supporter tier depends on the total of all your purchases and stays forever. Only a refund lowers it. The only monthly thing is the €200 milestone, and that is something else.

Do I keep my skill points after a rebirth?

Yes. The points stay in the tree, greyed out, and every new skill point brings back the next one, in the order you originally spent them. If you want to redistribute, use “Reset skill points”: free the first time, then 1,000 gems.

When do I get the Automation Machine?

It unlocks by itself after 50 rebirths, right away with Turbo Mode. Until then the card in the Automation tab shows how many rebirths are still missing. While the game is open, it works for free.

Does the Automation Machine run when I close the game?

Only in offline mode, which comes with Turbo Mode: 8 hours a day are free, every extra hour costs 4,000 gems, and when you come back you get the shards for the time that passed. If the machine is already running in the game, use “Keep running offline”. Without offline mode it works for free while the game is open, and its remaining time stays yours.

Why do I get no rebirths offline?

A rebirth only happens in the running game, when your hero reaches the target stage. While the game is closed, the machine in Offline mode pays you the shards you would roughly have earned in that time instead.

Do Strength and Vitality have a cap?

No. Every point keeps giving +4% damage or +5% health, with no cap.

What does crit above 100% do?

The part of your crit total above 100% becomes the crit ladder: every crit can climb one tier higher. At 110% every crit has a 10% chance of becoming a Super Crit, from 200% every crit is at least a Super Crit, from 300% at least a Hyper Crit, and so on through Ultra, Mega and Giga Crit up to Omega Crit from 700%, then Omega Crit II from 800%, Omega Crit III from 900% and on without end. How often you crit at all is still set by your crit chance (up to 70%, up to 100% with Primal Focus). So crit on your gear keeps its value.

Why does my crit value show more than 800%?

The crit ladder no longer has a cap: whatever your crit total collects above 100% counts in full, and the crit value in your hero stats grows with it. From 800% every crit is at least an Omega Crit II, from 900% at least an Omega Crit III, and so on. Below the value you see your guaranteed tier and the next one with its chance per hit. How often you crit at all is still set by your crit chance (up to 70%, up to 100% with Primal Focus).

How high can runes go?

Up to level 99. Every level costs gold, essence from the vaults and study time.

Can I study several runes at the same time?

Yes, with the Study Pack from the shop: it gives you a second study slot, Tier 2 a third. Each rune studies in its own slot with its own playtime clock, never the same rune in two slots. You see your slots at the top of the runes area under “Study slots”.

What is the point of pushing far into the stages?

Every 250 stages of your best stage give +1% damage for good, new stage finds start at stages 250, 750, 1500 and 3000, and gear from higher zones is stronger. There are also Ascent Packs at stages 50, 100 and 200, world titles up to world 10 and the Hunter's Journey. And every 10,000 cleared stages give +1% health, no matter how far ahead you clear them.

Do I get a Hunter's Journey step for every new world?

Only for worlds 2 to 10: the first time you enter one of them, it brings a Hunter's Journey step with gems and a world title. After that no more world steps are added, but you keep getting Echo Shards for every new world (chapter 9).

How long does overfeeding last?

Every portion of food gives 15 minutes and extends a running boost by another 15 minutes. There is no cap.

Why does only time with the game open count?

INFINIDROP is an online idle game: your hero fights and finds loot while the game is open, standby screen included. While the app is closed you get the offline reward in gems. That is why studies and companion moods run on playtime. So you can play long sessions without tapping, the night potion and the Potion of the Clear Day protect you from roots and ice.

My hero is stuck. What is going on?

That is the stun: if you do not touch anything for a long time, roots or ice hold your hero in place. Tap the glowing spots and the battle goes on. You do not lose anything. A running potion prevents the stun completely.

How does “Call the next wave” work in the Onslaught Arena?

The double arrow calls the next wave right away, so you fight several waves at once. That is harder, but faster. At most two called waves can be open, and it does not work during a boss wave. For marks and the ranking, a wave only counts when all its monsters and those of all waves before it are beaten.

What is in the Onslaught Arena token shop?

For Onslaught Marks: a Godlike item with a weekly limit, once a week a Godlike item of your choice, and infinite upgrades for gold & XP and for damage & health, +1% per level, with the mark price doubling every level. You find it in the Special Shop under ONSLAUGHT MARKS.

What are the Stone Card and the Ascent Packs?

The Stone Card brings you one demon core and one Rift Stone by mail every day for 30 days. Ascent Packs are one-time offers when you reach stages 50, 100 and 200, with gems, charges and, from stage 100, Rift Stones. Each one lasts 48 hours.

Does the first purchase of a gem pack count double?

Yes. The first purchase of every pack size gives double gems, as long as the “FIRST BUY ×2” badge is on the card.

What happens if I miss a day of logging in?

Once every seven days the game protects your login streak: the calendar shows “Streak protected” and your streak keeps going. If you miss days more often or for longer, the streak ends. If you come back after a break of at least three days, a comeback gift waits in your mail.

How does the Piggy Bank work?

While you play, it collects an extra share of the gems you earn, up to a limit. Its card in the Special Shop under GEMS shows how full it is. When you buy it, you get the whole content as gems by mail, and then it fills up again from the start. You can buy it once it has reached a minimum fill level. When it is full, it collects nothing more until you empty it.

Can I sign in with Google or Apple at the first start if I don't have an account yet?

Yes. Under “Already have an account?”, signing in with Google (on iPhone and iPad also with Apple) then creates your account and links it right away. After that you only choose your name. You get the 200 gems for your first link after the prologue.

Where can I see when the next event starts?

Tap the small clock in the top right corner of the stage box. For LUCKY TIME, ×2 GOLD, ×2 XP and MYSTIC TIME, the “NEXT EVENTS” window shows whether each one is running right now or when it starts. The fixed weekly schedule is in chapter 19.

When does the arena season end and what do I get?

Every week on Tuesday at 00:00 UTC. Then points are halved, the top three move up and the bottom three move down. Everyone who does not move down gets the season gems of their league by mail. The top of the Champion league also gets Rift Stones, and place 1 gets the “CHAMPION” title. Season mail needs a linked account.

Where do I find my stats?

In the HUNTER'S JOURNEY window, in the STATS window (Hero, All stats, button “Stats” at the bottom) and under Hero, Rebirth in the fold-out “How your tiers work” below the REBIRTH card. Your stats show playtime, monsters slain, stages cleared, deaths, gems spent and gold spent, and below them your permanent bonuses and how many monsters and stages are missing until the next one.

Why can't I see other players' stats?

Other players' stats are only visible to friends. Send a friend request, and once it is accepted you see the numbers.

Why do I get no reward in the Rift Expedition?

You are rewarded if you fight long enough and do not leave the round. Per UTC day you have three rewarded rounds, one more with VIP; once they are used up, you can buy more for gems with “Extra round”. The reward arrives by mail, a little smaller after a round without a victory.

Why does my Rift Expedition invite not arrive?

You can only invite friends and members of your guild. A notification on the device only goes to players who allowed notifications, and only a few per day (“No more notifications today, the invite is waiting in the party”). The invite itself still waits in your friend's PARTY tab as long as your lobby is open.
