Terms of Use

This English version is a convenience translation. In case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the mobile game INFINIDROP, operated by Moritz Grillnberger, Austria. By installing and using the game, you agree to them. The game is obtained via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store; their terms apply in addition (purchase processing, refunds).

2. The game

INFINIDROP is a free online game with optional paid content. It requires an active internet connection; your game progress is saved online. We are continuously developing the game: game content, values, probabilities, seasons and leaderboards may change through updates, balancing and season changes — regular (partial) resets of seasons as well as resets of the entire server at the end of test phases or when the game is relaunched are part of the game concept; we announce them in the game. There is no entitlement to constant availability.

3. Game account

• Use is reserved for persons aged 16 and over. If you are not yet of legal age, you need the consent of your parents or legal guardians for purchases.
• On first launch, an anonymous account is created; it can voluntarily be linked with a Google or Apple account. Linking may be a requirement for individual multiplayer features.
• Player names must be free of insults, third-party trademarks and offensive content; we may reset inadmissible names.
• Accounts are not transferable and may not be sold or shared.
• You can delete your account in the game at any time (90-day period, then permanent); virtual content expires without replacement upon permanent deletion.

4. Virtual content and purchases

• Virtual currencies and items are not property and have no monetary value; you receive a simple right of use limited to the game. Trading outside the game is prohibited.
• Optional purchases are made via Google Play or the Apple App Store at the prices shown there; the purchased content is provided to you in the game (in-game mail) immediately after the purchase.
• By purchasing, you agree to immediate provision and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal thereby expires (§ 18(1)(11) of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, FAGG). The refund rules of Google Play or the Apple App Store remain unaffected.
• VIP is a subscription with a term of one month that renews automatically for one month at a time until you cancel it in your store account (Google Play or App Store); the details of cancellation are governed by the respective store. Price and benefits are shown in the purchase dialog and on the VIP card in the game. Deleting your game account does not end a running subscription — cancel it separately in the store.
• We may revoke credits obtained fraudulently (e.g. chargeback abuse, manipulation).
• Some features grant random rewards; the relevant probabilities are shown in the game.
• The game offers voluntary ad videos with virtual rewards; there is no entitlement to the availability of ads or rewards.

5. Fair play rules

In particular, the following are prohibited: cheating of any kind (manipulation, bots, exploits, interference with the client-server communication), offensive or unlawful content in chat and names, harassment and spam, multiple accounts to circumvent bans or to manipulate leaderboards, and commercial trading of accounts or content.

6. Sanctions

In the event of violations, we may — graduated according to severity — issue warnings, revoke chat rights, exclude accounts from leaderboards, correct game progress and suspend accounts temporarily or permanently. Bans are shown in the game with the reason and, where applicable, the expiry date; bans are decided by a human. In the event of a permanent ban for serious violations, virtual content expires without replacement. You can appeal against measures in the game or by email to support@infinidrop.app.

7. Guilds and your own content

You are responsible for content you create yourself (guild name, description, chat); you grant us the right to store it for operating the game and to display it to others. Guild leaders can accept, remove and mute members; we may transfer or dissolve orphaned guilds.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• damage based on slight negligence;
• the loss, change or expiry of purely virtual progress, currencies and items through game mechanics and game operation — in particular season ends and season resets, rebirth, balancing and content changes, resets of the server (for example at the end of a test phase or when the game is relaunched), permanent account deletion and bans for rule violations;
• the loss of an (anonymous) game account that is not linked with Google or Apple, for example in the event of device loss, a device change, reinstallation or cleared device storage;
• outages, interruptions, maintenance, data loss and delays; there is no entitlement to constant availability;
• services, outages and errors of third parties — in particular the app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) and their purchase and refund processing, payment service providers, the sign-in services of Google and Apple, ad networks, push and email services and your internet connection;
• content of other players (chat, player and guild names, descriptions);
• AI-generated content (soundtrack, parts of the texts and translations), in particular for its accuracy, completeness or suitability;
• indirect damage, consequential damage, lost profits and damage from commercial use;
• damage from use contrary to these terms, with modified or manipulated software, with bots or exploits, on rooted or jailbroken devices or on devices that do not meet the system requirements.

Virtual currencies and items have no monetary value (section 4); their loss does not give rise to any claim for compensation or refund.

Liability remains unaffected to the extent it is mandatory by law — in cases of intent and gross negligence, for personal injury, under the Austrian Product Liability Act and within the scope of mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence.

9. Changes and discontinuation

We may amend these terms with effect for the future if the game, the legal situation or the services used change; we will inform you of material changes in the game. We will announce a discontinuation of the service with reasonable notice in the game and on this website.

10. Final provisions

Austrian law applies; mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder remains valid. Contact: support@infinidrop.app
